LOL
By the way, I don't get. Was "Invasion" a mini-series of 5 issues only? I don't see any anything about issue #6 on darkhorse.

Well, maybe it will run alternatively with Dark Times, like Rebellion did.

I'm enjoying Dark Times. It needs more Imperials, though.

DT is the best SW series. Too bad it doesn't get here anymore.

I read the first issue of the second Invasion arc. Nice enough, not what it should but at least the story is promising.
Curious to see the Holocron they found is clearly a Masonic reference because it is the truncated pyramid with a small complete pyramid in top. Only missing thing was the all-seeing-eye...LOL.
The 'prophecy'in it was lame though, pretty similar to what we see in Dark Empire II when they open Master Vodo-Bass' Holocron: Pure crap-talk.

I believe that's a general Sith holocron shape. Jedi / average holocrons are cubes. The only thing about Invasion I don't like is the art.

No, the Sith Holocrons are actually Pyramids but not truncated ones. That one is odd. The little pyramid on top is overing over it, just like te Masonic one.
I like art because it gives the series that old-feeling of Dark Empire (which ironically I dislike greatly). I agree that most of the Comic seems quite rush-drawn but I think that might be because only Colin Wilson is working as an artist for it. They should bring the great Brian Ching. Where is he working now (I hope always with SW)?

I don't know. He might be working on the new Old Republic comic series in a few months, but I'm not sure. I think his art would fit this series well.

I've been thinking the same.
What I'm not that much happy about is how much they're using the Solo children. So far Luke's been fine because he was in the first arc and in the first issue of the second. But the Solos will be there in this second arc. I love them, but we know how importnat they become during the war...I know it is only the beginning of the war but I think the main character should be interacting with minor characters, so we could have other characters being expanded. Like Kyp Durron, Ganner Rhysode and so many others that only appeared for a few chapters in some books.
I so would love to have Izal Waz in this series. Come on, where else have you seen a Jedi drug addict that is actually a good guy?
LOL. Not exactly drug addict, but to Arconas, that's the equivalent.

I like the Solo children, but yes they're being overused.
I still dislike the main character, but we'll see.

I like the boy. I'd prefferthe series is focused on minor characters and some minor events at the beginngin of the war. That opens possibilities of several good stories, places and characters, without interfering with stablished cannon, and helps the overall story by expanding it.

I don't mind the minor characters thing, but I'd prefer they highlight current minor characters instead of creating a new one.
