You got a point, but I see what they meant, which is not 'touching' stablished cannon of even minor characters, but if only they stood true to that intention with MAJOR characters, but no, instead they cloned an Emperor and Vader's son.

Well, I don't think Invasion will last long, so let's give it a chance right now, it has just only started.

I'll give it a chance. So far it is pretty good.

I've got the second issue in the second Invasion arc: Rescues.  I find it stupid that they began numbering this series again from #1. There are two #1 issues and two issues #2. Really stupid.

I'm liking it, it feels like the minor character series we needed, though I still mind they are using Jaina and Jacen so much. They were the heroes of this war, and even when their participation at the beginning was minor it feels unnecessary tat they use them, when they could use characters like Ganner Rhysode and the always interesting Kyp Durron. Besides, I don't like that much ow Collin Wilson depicts them; this is te first issue in which Wilson's art kind of botered me...it felt quite odd...Vong locations and creatures should be more detailed since they're quite hard to imagine sometimes and his art, even though good, giving it a Dark Empire style, is not helping that much, since everything looks like piles of junk in the background.

I'm liking the series so far. I'm a big fan of the NJO era.

I must agree. I don't like that they started a "new" Invasion and started from #1. The first series was "Invasion," and this is "Invasion: Rescue." Seems pointless.

I didn't mind the Solo kids being shown helping him (him being the protagonist here, but I don't remember his name), but I think they're showing them a little too often. I'd like more characters (I'm still pissed off that the prisoners took over the Yuuzhan Vong ship)

In a war it might happen. Remember that it wasmn't just held in Artorias; actually Artorias is a very minor battle in the first ivading offensive. What I think was simply omitted was the difficulty in this biotechnology, they gained control over things pretty quick and that is most annoying.

That irritated me too.

I don't know. I just don't like the idea of the "good guys" gaining any victories until the later part of the war. Most of them were loses or Pyrrhic victories.

That is true.

Still I think the series is not been handled that badly, but we know this is a very dark era. Very dark indeed. To the point that several heroes died not being able to fight the ruthlss Yuuzhan Vong. So I hope it gets darker because so far everything has been going quite nice for the good guys.
