Someone posted a review on their blog. The book is due on Jan 26th, and there's already a confirmed sequel.

It's about these Sith from the Great Hyperspace War, they jump into hyperspace, and accidently get in a time portal. They exit hyperspace right into the Second Galactic Civil War being waged by Darth Caedus, the Jedi, and the Confederation. Oh yeah, a Jedi is also with these Sith.

Ah. So Star Wars is now adopting time travel... I have conflicting opinions here.

Indeed, I'm not liking it.

Each era has its own villains and circumstances that allow good story-telling, and now they come with time traveling? This is just absurd. I'm not liking the new direction SW has taken after the PT was completed.

Wait....wait...hold on. These are the Sith from "Fate of the Jedi"?

Umm...uh....well, Time Travel and Star Wars...uhh...could work...but...WHY?

What?! No. No No No. This is not happening. Dont you see? Lucas is rewriting the Old Republic! The great hyperspace war is one of my favorite time periods. NO! NO! NO!

I'm reading it now, it's actually not as bad as you think. It was a freak accident that caused these Sith and the Jedi Master to travel time. Just to 41.5 ABY, and Korr is involved. The events in the book occur just before the Battle of Kirrek, and it also ties together John Jackson Miller's "Lost Tribe of the Sith" series.

I'm thinking of reading it. Would I be lost if I didn't read Fate of the Jedi?
