I'd like to, since Jeph Loeb wrote The Long Halloween(aka the best Batman story ever).

If I can find it at Comic-Con for cheap I might pick it up, if not I'll wait until after.

Could you post a more detailed review...even SPOIL me about it, if possible...I SO want to see Hush in the next movie...which by the way guys, I want to start a bet-like thing. I feel in my heart that this movie will be callled "The Legend of the Batman"; what do you guys think will be the name and which name you'd likethe most?

I feel it would be wrong to spoil you on the ending.... it's just so well done.

The "sequel," Heart of Hush, isn't that great.

Really? So well done? It'd be hard to get it, though.

Besides Batman: Hush that is.

Don't want to spoil anything but...best villain ever!

Oh yes. I go back and forth on who the best villain is, but he's up there.

I must admit, though: I didn't like Heart of Hush.

I actually just read the actual sequel, "Hush Returns." That was pretty good. I disliked Heart of Hush, though.

Got it, read it yesterday.

Things I liked:
* Jeph Loeb's writing. Say what you will about his recent output, but when it comes to his Batman work he gets it.
* The art. Gorgeous. Simple as that.

Things I didn't like:
* The art. As good as it is, I felt that in many cases it didn't fit the mood that they were going for. Maybe it was the bright colors or the crazy amounts of detail, but I felt that this story would've benefited from some simpler art. Tim Sale comes to mind (cause it's Jeph Loeb writing, duh) but I'm sure there are other artists that would've pulled it off.
* The scope. As much as I like a big story, I had to raise my eyebrow a little at some of the developments, like Lex Luthor's involvement. Or the implication of his involvement, or whatever.
* The reveal. I'm not talking about who Hush is--I mean Riddler supposedly planning the whole thing. What? Really? I understand they were going for a mystery, but the ending felt far too murky. Long Halloween benefited from tying up enough plotlines to satisfy the reader while keeping one question open. I think they tried to do that here, only for it to backfire.
* Joker and Two-Face's non-involvement. I felt there could've been a really good subplot here, but it was skimmed over and saved for the end.

I know I listed more things I didn't like than things I did, but overall I really enjoyed it. I've read some criticism that Batman not being prepared for a broken rope makes him seem inept, but I interpret it more as him being overconfident: Hush's goal was to put him on his toes. Now Batman will always be looking over his shoulder, as demonstrated by the very end.

I'm gonna take a look at the sequels. Hush hasn't appeared in much else, has he?

Also, tell me there's a showdown between Hush and Bane at some point.

SPOILER:

I didn't like the Riddler part, either. Riddler is good, but not that smart.

Hush has appeared in Gotham Knights and Heart of Hush, which is more or less the final piece of the Hush saga.

Here's a full list:

I think I'll take a look at Heart of Hush, then. I read some reviews of Hush Returns and...jeez. That sounds bad.

Hush Returns was okay. I have mixed feelings with regards to Heart of Hush, but it is extremely important.
