"First of all, just call me Kyle – titles make my skin crawl. And
secondly, you're not 'serving under me'. I'm gonna teach you, and you're
gonna learn. That's it." - Kyle Katarn
Kyle Katarn was very confident, and cocky. He
tended to make jokes about his enemies.
Kyle also was worried about his powers. While
very strong, he worried about falling to the Dark Side.
Kyle was never one to like titles. He
hated being called "Master Katarn"
While very confident, Kyle tended to blame
himself for things he believed he could have prevented.
Even after becoming a Jedi, Kyle kept close
underworld contacts (which he used to get info), and knowing his way around
the Cantinas and other places of the sort. Powers/Abilities:
Kyle was a highly skilled Force user. He
was one of the strongest in the New Jedi Order.
Even as a Jedi Master, Kyle used many Dark
Side powers, including Force Lightning and Grip.
While already a strong Force user, Kyle
became even stronger after absorbing energy from the Valley of the Jedi.
Skills:
With little training, Kyle Katarn was able to
defeat seven skilled Dark Jedi.
After training under Luke Skywalker, Kyle
became the second best Lightsaber user, becoming the Jedi Battlemaster of the
New Jedi Order (succeeding former Jedi Battlemaster, Kam Solusar).
Kyle also created the three main Lightsaber
techniques within New Jedi Order. Medium, Fast, Strong. Which he taught to
many of his students.
He is also skilled in stealth, and is a
skilled maskmen. He is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
